Today, America’s military machine has evolved to become one of the most technologically advanced and well trained military forces in History. If we were to compare America to this Roman’s God of War, we can say that it wears several masks. All of these masks creating a complex identity. So, lets journey back to the battlefields of Enlightenment Europe, the war-torn forests of conlonial america, through the bloody World Wars and up to the “new” war America is now embroiled in, to better understand the “Masks of Mars”.
